Tennis Xpress - Adult beginners (Level 4)
Tennis Xpress is a beginner adult introductory coaching course for players who want to learn the basics of the sport. Designed as a six-hour course over six weeks, Tennis Xpress is centred on the use of modified equipment such as slower bouncing balls to ensure that players quickly learn the game of tennis; being able to serve, rally and score by the end of the course. Courses cost £75.
Tuesday morning group coaching (Levels 2,3)
These sessions give full and off-peak members a chance to improve their doubles techniques and meet other members that are able to play during the week. It runs every Tuesday morning from 10am - 12 noon. There’s limited coaching with the emphasis on doubles play in a friendly social environment. Open to full and off-peak members, costs £5 per session. Spaces are not limited.
Thursday afternoon doubles group coaching (Levels 2,3)
Open to all members of the club, these sessions give you the opportunity to improve your doubles game predominantly from a tactical perspective. This is a friendly environment with the first hour being coaching/drills and the second hour being supervised doubles play. The sessions run 1pm - 3pm, cost £5 and spaces are not limited.
Friday evening group coaching (Level 3)
This course runs on a Friday evening from 7.30 - 9pm. All strokes are covered along with doubles techniques and game play. The course is open to anyone (including non-members) wanting to improve his or her game and costs £20 for non-members, £15 for all playing members.
Tuesday evening shot clinics (Levels 1,2 & Gold)
These sessions give members an opportunity to improve their tennis in a more focussed environment. A different skill will be practiced each week eg. drop shot. Spaces are limited to 6 people, ensuring a good coach to player ratio. Sessions run from 7.30pm - 9pm and cost £15 for playing members and £20 for non-members (by invitation only). Thursday evening tactical clinics (Levels 1,2 & Gold)
A different practical scenario will be practiced each week in these sessions eg. turning around from a defensive position. Spaces are limited to 6 people, ensuring a good coach to player ratio. Sessions run from 7.30pm - 9pm and cost £15 for playing members and £20 for non-members (by invitation only). To book, email Club Manager or the Head Coach.

Level 4: Complete beginners and learning/developing basic shots
Level 3: Rusty players, players that have played before but not for a long time, understand the basics of tennis
Level 2: Players who enjoy playing socially and can hold a rally for more than ten shots
Level 1: Competent players who are confident in using variations in direction, pace and spin on all shots
Gold Level: Team standard
