Putney Lawn Tennis Club

Founded in 1879, Putney Lawn Tennis Club is one of the oldest tennis clubs in the world and certainly one of the most popular.

Located in the heart of West Putney, PLTC offers 5 synthetic grass courts alongside 5 artificial clay courts and boasts a high standard of social and competitive tennis.

Our members live in all areas of South West London - whether Fulham, Battersea, Barnes, Sheen, Roehampton, Wandsworth, Clapham - or just around the corner in Putney.

PLTC also has a vibrant community supported by a clubhouse with a well-stocked bar and kitchen, big television screens for watching major sporting events and a function room often used to host yoga sessions, quiz nights and our popular parties.

With around 800 members of all ages across the various categories, from Club Championships and box leagues to social weekend competitions, PLTC has something to offer every player.
